MIRANDA GASPED AT HIS words. She rose to her feet and turned from him for a moment. Rod stood behind her and touched her shoulder. She shrugged his touch off and spun on her heels. She moved into his face and she was angrier than he'd ever seen her. "Don't you dare! Don't you even touch me right now. How could you? I mean you stand here, and you tell me that you are a horrible person, because you used people to soothe a physical need. You tell me that you are a bastard child that you don't deserve someone like me, but you tell me you want to fuck me, so I'll never wake up and realize you are trash? So, do you really love me or are you playing a game?"

Rod reached out to touch her. But she pulled away, "No! Answer me damn it? Is this a game? Am I a game to you? Make me writhe under you with desire, make me want you and you win? Is that it?"

Rod was angry. Fury on his face. His jaw ticked as Miranda watched him. "No damn it! I love you! I don't deserve you. You are so good, and I am nothing. I have no degree, I have no fancy job, I can't even afford to buy you a house you deserve. You have made your life what it is, all I am is the man that can give you the most amazing orgasms. I have nothing, hell I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the one with the problem that can't get you pregnant. It's probably me. Don't you get it!" Rod was yelling. "I am nothing! I am trash, just like my mother!" Rod dropped to his knees and he cried.

Miranda was shocked, she wasn't really angry with him, she wanted him to break. She wanted him to finally tell her why he held a part of him away from her. She felt him always holding back. Yes, he gave her love, he gave her all she wanted and needed. Except for the part of him that he kept buried deep down, the part he had closed off and he thought no one saw.

Miranda fell to her knees with him. "Rod you listen to me. You are not trash. You never were. Your grandparents raised you and gave you love. They showed you what love was. They made you the man you are today. You took from those other women because it was easier than giving yourself to someone. You have been hiding too long. Just because your mother did the things she did does not reflect on you."
